Week 45

So the last several months have been really crazy. New boyfriend (Alex), wrist declared clear for working out (but still a bit sore from time to time), lotsa traveling (LA for 11 days to be more specific), a home reconstruction mess (not even going there), missed workouts (due to Brad and I taking time off) ... but now  hopefully back to it more diligently. So this is what I got today. I actually had a great workout and really felt good. I am a bit disappointed in the loss of some definition in the chest area and legs, but overall I think I'm doin OK. week 32

I learned last week that I have a bone cyst in my left wrist which has required casting and then some surgery in a couple of weeks. Undeterred I went ahead and worked out with Brad today. Went pretty well overall but I definitely am going to have some adjusting to do. Here's the pix

Week 31

Last week was rounding week and had a brace on for some tendonitis in my left hand. Bad diet, no Monday morning workout ... exhausted for today. And these pix make me look fat! LOL ... So this week, focus on diet and try to get in at least 2 days cardio ... yes trying so hard once again but ... ugh ... rounding weeks are so f***ing tuff ...

Week 28

Wow, what a workout today 20 pullups, 30 pushups, 40 situp, 50 squats x 3 in 30 minutes followed by another 30 minutes of 1 set of various exercises ... all while pumped up on sugar free red bull (bad idea, heart racing the whole time, not too tired, but very uncomfortable and seemingly always out of breath). Ran once last week and have been doing cardio about once per week but the weather has really been cold. It's supposed to start warming up this week so maybe a few more runs. Down to 179 lbs (not pleased about that, but the measurements last week were stable with a 1.5" drop in my waist size. I guess I'll take that. Would like to be bigger so I'm going to see if Brad can go higher on the weights (and if my aging wrist, shoulder and knee joints will handle it). Would like to get another 2" around my chest and a more V-shape to my back. Ok, here's the pix:
