Week 30

Here it is, the week before the cruise ... and still no six pack ... but I think I look pretty darned good! For having not YET achieved my goals, I am totally stoked for what I have achieved. I look at these pix and I'm pretty impressed with my progress. BUT when I look at the shots taken on week 1 .. DAMN!!! I feel really great about this whole thing. Just upped with Brad for another 2 months today and I have about 2 weeks off from seeing him or working out at RetroFit. I hope I can maintain some semblance of my current self ... of course I'll be able to compare pix too so I guess that is not only going to tell me how badly I fared on the cruise but also motivation to keep up the hard work!

Week 29

Well it seems "the word is out" about my blog. I had 13 hits on the 16th and it wasn't me. Braaaad? Anyway no big deal I'm pretty proud of what I've got goin on so good luck to all of you who are checking this out. I suggest you do the same thing and see your improvement as well! It's fun! ... and pretty motivating. I didn't make it in to see Brad today as I am rounding (taking care of the hospital patients with the residents). I did manage to get in a couple of workouts this weekend and just got back from 20 minutes on the treadmill tonite so overall pretty good. I leave for FL and our cruise in just 10 days. "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" is my motto so I can hopefully get a great 6 pack by then ... who knows ... here's today's pix

Week 28

Okay week last week. Didn't get to the gym as often as I would have liked then ended up doing a little partying this weekend with some friends so not the greatest in terms of dieting either. Overall though I am noting improvement (yes, Brad, I admit it ... ). Looking forward to cruising the Carribean in 17 days, though ... and with a pretty decent looking body!

Week 27

Okay so I missed Friday's workout due to the boys' swim meet which was cool cuz I worked out the rest of the weekend including serious Abs and some lunges and of course cardio. On the other hand I had a few cocktails this weekend and an amazing burger at One-Eye'd Betty's in Ferdale which I'm sure didn't help the physique much. But back on the wagon today, had a great workout and I've got a few pix to prove it!
