Week 33

So here I am at week 33. Just got back from yet another trip, this time to Seattle. I got in last nite and am still on Seattle time. So when I got up at 7 this morning that was like 3 or 4 am for me and I am exhasted. I tried to push it at the gym with Brad today but I'm afraid I pretty much fell short of expectations.  I have noticed a change in my body since starting the Creatine and Arginine. I have filled out a bit which I'm happy with (provided I can lose it in the end when I want to). So here are the pix for today! Have a great week!

Week 32

You know, it's funny ... in the past whenever I tried to gain weight I had to eat an exorbitant amount of food. Now, I'm 48, and gaining weight doesn't seem to be much of a problem! So you'll notice this week (and hopefully in the following weeks) a little less definition and a little more in terms of size. I don't really know what my weight is, but I'm trying to put on some size. Added creatine and arginine supplements to help with that endeavour (2 caps of "supercharged" creatine and 1 cap (500IU I think) Arginine per day) as well as increasing my daily caloric intake (mostly good food but the occasional cocktail here and there as well). Gonna be away starting tomorrow for a conference and so I won't see Brad and workout again until next Monday. I'll have to stay motivated and get something done while I'm in Seattle.

Week 31

I should preface this entry with the fact that I have had the last 2 weeks off for vacation. I worked out a bit during the vacation but I was on a cruise so the fact that I was FORCE FED all those meals and drinks I'm luck that I only gained (according to the scale today a week later) only about 1 lb. Today was exhausting since I was up at 6am for a 7am meeting then followed by an 8 am meeting then headed over to the gym. I started (4 days ago) on some creatine and arginine to see if that helps with gains. I'm gonna try that for 4-6 weeks and see how it goes. Other than that getting back into a routine which incorporates cardio and some weights between training sessions is my biggest challenge. Also I am out of town again near the end of the month. Only one day off training with Brad but it is 5 days out of town at a hotel and that is going to be a challenge. So here's the pix from this week ...
