Week 22

A weekend of Pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, beer and yes, some candy. Troy's surprise birthday party led to all sorts of dietary indiscretions and only 1 or 2 cardio sessions last week. Nonetheless I feel like I have made some decent strides in the last few weeks. About 2 months to go before the cruise in April with a week off for a vacation (somewhere, Jim hasn't decided where yet). Here are the pix ...

Week 21

Here it is the beginning of my 5th month. I definitely look "thicker" and feel stronger but last week's workout torqued my shoulder a bit and I'm still feeling it today. Kinda a bummer. Overall having just gotten off the rounding responsibilities for the residency and having had a morning to sleep in I feel pretty darn good. I have GOT to lose this belly fat! If I'm going to have ANY definition whatsoever it's now or never on this cardio thing! SONOVABITCH! Anyway, here's the before workout and after pix from today (holy crap what a difference a good workout and a pump will make for the pix, eh?!) ... and btw Привет моим русским последователям!

Week 20

Feeling pretty fat this week actually. Worked out with Brad 1/2 hour on Friday and now I am rounding won't workout with him again until Friday this week. Been good about sticking to diet though and hopefully will get in some cardio tomorrow morning, I'm gonna try to get up early but if the rounding list is long forget it. Here's this week's pix. At the bottom are some week 1  / week 20 pix to see improvement ... I'm scared.

Week 19 ... post holiday ...

Okay, January 2, I've completely blown my diet for the past week. It's all Brad's fault ... no Brad, no motivation, I become blimpo the magnificent once again! LOL

Actually, I've been pretty good on exercising. A little light weights earlier this week and 3 cardio session 1/2 hour each. Not bad, didn't burn off the holiday splurge, but hey, the Mayans said we'll be dead by this time next year so what the hell ...
Weight workout today 1/2 hour
Weighted squats (10# each hand) followed by leg lifts: x 20 rep x 3 set
Lateral raises (15# each hand) followed by incline bench press (35# each hand): x 20 rep x 3 set
Dumbell curls (15# each hand) followed by crunches: x 20 rep x 3 set

No pre-workout fotos today, only post (oh, and before any smart remarks come to mind that is my bandana hanging from my waistband, my ass is just too hot for this blog now so I better keep it covered ... oh yeah baby!!!) :
